It's here! January 16th is finally here! You know, I was thinking about it, and I suppose it's perfectly reasonable to have a four-year hiatus between the first half and second half of a season. I mean sure, you'll have people who give up and eventually forget the show is even on anymore, but then you'll also have people who are rabid and insane by the end, and that's good press.
I had tinkered last night with going out today and getting a few fun, snacky things for when we watch, so of course it's ridiculously freezing and we have snow on the ground. Last night we made Nigella's individual Choco Hot-o Pots, which...we probably should have saved for tonight.
To the right are my three favorite BSG icons that I've made. It occurs to me that even though the show is often depressing and grim, there are, occasionally, fun things or joyous things that happen. I should maybe have some icons of those moments, for use in happier times. Because it's like, I'm so excited for the premiere! Look, suicidal people, over there! At least Adama's kinda smiling.

Aaaaand...I'm developing a crush on Patrick Stewart.
Look at how cute!
I like how Caro has relaunched her blog to be all slick and erudite and interesting, and something she can use in a professional context, and mine has remained, "Sometimes I watch TV and there are men I find attractive! See!"

You know what's really hard? The CSI computer game. I DO TOO HAVE ALL THE EVIDENCE, BRASS. SHUT UP.
We had this one random, beautiful day in the low 60s this week, and now we're back to cold. My grandpa keeps saying that since we've had a harsh, cold winter so early, we'll have an early spring, but he said that last year when we had the same weather, and it didn't happen. I swear, it was barely warm even by the time we hit May. I feel like I shake my fist at Canada just about every day.
